I rented a motorcycle through Tu and went on an organized tour for 3 days.

The KTM 790 Adventure S was well-maintained and equipped with saddlebags and a phone holder with wireless charging. I enjoyed the routes and the company of the other riders. The routes were beautiful, the pace was fine, and everyone spoke perfect English. The arranged accommodations were fine. Tu and his companions were friendly, skilled, and good company. I will definitely go on a longer tour with Dare Motor Expedition. Thanks for the wonderful adventure.

I had the pleasure of joining a 2-night, 3-day tour to Da Lat with DME (Dare Moto Expedition), a new local company offering organized tours for riders of adventure and classic motorbikes. I joined the tour on a Honda CB500X that a friend kindly loaned me. I currently work and live in HCM as an expat and enjoy overnight motorbike trips around Vietnam. This group promised something a little different than the self-organized trips typical of local riding groups. The tour would be organized and conducted in English (a big plus for me), and the route and logistics would be tailored for—for lack of better words—more "mature" riders with group safety in mind (an even bigger plus for me).

What appeals to me about motorbike travel isn't speed or the destination itself. It's the camaraderie and the local experiences along the way. This was the key selling point for DME. They promised an authentic local riding experience with roads and restaurants I would never have discovered on my own. With my busy work and life schedule here, plus the language barrier when ordering food and booking lodging, I could simply show up with my motorbike at 6 AM and start riding. It's really nice to travel with a company that shares my mindset so I don't have to worry about food and lodging logistics.

Our first stop was Mui Ne. The second was Da Lat. Even though I've traveled to these places before, the experiences felt new and fresh. The group stayed connected via Cardo communicators (I already own one so I just joined a new group for the ride). The tour was led by tour leader Tu, who also goes by "Anderson"—a real pro at this stuff. He made everyone feel comfortable and encouraged us to ride at our own pace while gently pushing us outside our comfort zones. That's how you improve anyway, so it was a welcome change.

If you already own a motorbike, the cost is very reasonable, and you'll enjoy riding with this group. If you need to rent one, they have a fleet of bikes to choose from. I'd be keen to join one of their upcoming tours to different parts of Vietnam I have yet to explore.

Just finished an adventure tour in the mountainous terrain in the northern Vietnam with DME. I joined the tour with Triumph Tiger Sport 660, with my wife on the rear seat.

The whole experience was totally amazing and inspiring, way beyond my expectations. From the beginning to the end, the breathtaking landscape came one after another. Some were so dramatic. So much fun to ride through a mixture of on and off road including some technical (but not dangerous) sections. This was absolutely the best tour I ever participated in my life.

The most important contributing factor came from Anderson, the leader. He managed everything with utmost cares, ensuring the group to finish everyday enjoyable and safe. At the end of the day, he checked all bikes, air pressure, chains, brakes. He has a mechanical background, carrying all kind of tools. Anderson’s leadership gave all participants a strong sense of confidence to the tour. Super thanks to Anderson.

Had a wonderful, amazing, exciting, and enjoyable experience during recent DME tour to Ha Giang Loop lead by Aderson. Anderson had spoiled us with so much care during the whole tour. He ensured that each one of us reaches each point safely and waited for slow riders such as me. No matter how much we asked him not to wait for us but he always had either waited for us or asked someone to wait for us. He has excellent relationship with his friends which talks about his good and honest characters. Tung ( Jerry), friend of Anderson joined this group and Jerry was so kind that he offered his valuable support in ensuring that all riders are counted for. So Thanks Jerry for such a priceless experience of care. In such a short time James had shown his kindness and patience while guiding me to the right direction and lead me to each Destination or rest stops.

Every morning when we were in the room Anderson ensured that all the Bike Chains, Tyre pressure, Brakes, etc in order and that no one is riding bike with any irregularities. He is so energetic and always committed to the safety and comfort of each one of us.

Basically the way Anderson handles the group is amazing and talks about his management skills, He had managed flawlessly the slow bikers same as me and fast biker as Dat and Khoi. The routes were challenging and after letting my bike fall 2 times or the first day to Ta Xua , I have been driving nervously and hope that we have good roads in coming days. But the roads got more difficult to drive and no other options than letting my fear behind and try to gain my confidence. Last day the roads were so bad but due to rough roads in the past I have passed those smoothly and with more confidence.

Overall Anderson is the best tour organisor, best group leader and best manager. I just do hope that in future he leads us and the group more.

Each and every member in the group was amazing and helpful. Schott and Ha, James and Sophie, MoriSan and Hang, Truong and Vy, Nhan, Tom and Jerry, Mago, Artemiy, Tam and his wife, Dat, Khoi, Nhan, and Anderson, Tks to all of you for such a good memories which will remain for years with us.

Looking forwards of riding together with all of you soon.

Hey! Thanks again for putting this trip together. Whatever came up, you stayed calm and got things sorted. Really respect the way you lead!

I didn’t expect to enjoy the trip this much. A lot of that was down to you. Let me know when you’re planning the next one, I’d love to join.
